Warm afternoon light falling on stacked lumber inside an old Wisconsin lumber yard

The Story

A show built out of sawdust and Sundays.

GoGo grew up in the quiet of his grandfather's Wisconsin lumber yard, where Big Carl taught him to measure twice and save the good wood for the good projects. Decades later, that warmth became a show — a place for grandparents to gather and pass a little of it down.

A recurring segment

The Lumber Yard Moment

At the end of every episode, GoGo pauses to honor Big Carl — the grandfather who first handed him a hammer. It's a quiet minute for the audience to remember the people who taught them, and to pass something on.

Now it's time to go to the lumber yard. Go build something with your grandchildren.
